Set to live music composed by Mary Carol Warwick and influenced by the poetry of incarcerated youth, baritone vocalist Anthony Turner performs a one-man song cycle. Featuring Elise Wagner, bassoonist; Luke Hubley, percussionist and pianist Paul Boyd. These songs were influenced by the poems complied in The Gathering, a book by artist Jeannine Otis. Turner’s performance offers a special tribute to victims of gun violence, while also conveying a sense of hope within our communities, our criminal justice system, and humanity.
